There are several different types of centipedes folks. Not all look like the classic long bodies 2 legs per segment type seen in the other battles.

This is a house centipede, Scutigera coleoptrata. It's member of the centipede family and it is venemous but it's fangs are relatively tiny and it's no threat to humans. They only get about 2-3 inches, most smaller than that.

The Centipede did not have an amputated leg, it only looked like it had an amputated leg because the orthopeteran somtimes kept attacking at it and the centipedes leg got bent so the orthopeteran won. This was a very ungreat match because the orthopeteran would of lost to many other bugs like the scorpion like those kind of bugs
