I'd post my opinion, but your all right. I own a leopard Gecko myself, so i would route for him, but that wasn't exactly a fight was it. A gecko does not qualify as a gladiator "bug". A mantis has no such chance against such an animal. Not offending the site, but common. Seriously. |

These mantis videos suck. As so many have pointed out, none of these mantis fights are "fair". The mantis is an insect that instinctively understands what it can and cannot eat based on size. When they are young, they do not try and eat insects that are significantly larger than themselves. And they do it for survival – not for sport. Many of these videos force insects into the situation for the enjoyment of people. But hey I have an idea, let’s put people in cages with hungry tigers and see who wins. Yeah that would be a great idea. Not only humane but so cool! Oh and we have come so far and progressed from the days of the Roman Coliseum. |
